Classes of Water
Classes of water damages relates to the evaporation rates. There are four classes on water damage restoration projects. Class 1 is the least amount of water, absorption and evaporation. This means small areas with minimum moisture absorption. Class 2 is a large amount of water, absorption and evaporation. This means significant areas affected with highly porous areas. Class 3 is the greatest amount of water, absorption and evaporation. This means water may have come from overhead and basically the entire area is saturated. Class 4 is a specialty drying situation. Simply this means the water is trapped or hidden and has a low rate of evaporation. These usually require longer drying times.
Whether your home or business endures a Class one, two, three or four, SERVPRO of Brandywine/Wilmington is here to help.
