Fire stricken room

There are often times we like to share insights our team has developed over the years to help one make a confident decision when choosing a clean-up company such as SERVPRO of Brandywine / Wilmington. When it comes to fires that occur sometimes the damage can be devastating. In the photo attached, the home sustained a substantial loss. The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of this posting. You can see where the fireman banged holes to see if there was flame or burning inside the wall cavity. There was a lot of debris from the ruined contents throughout the area. SERVPRO of Brandywine / Wilmington was able to retrieve and save some of the contents and clothing from the adjacent rooms. The items we brought back to our warehouse in order to clean and deodorize them while the home was being re-built. We were successful in getting out both the black soot and odors from what we salvaged.
