Liquid Alchemy Tours Provide Wilmington Residents with a Chance to Learn the Processes of Making Honey Wine and Mead 

Liquid Alchemy is a tour and tasting event that is much fun for adults looking to understand honey wine and mead production processes—visitors tour Delaware's only meadery, where wines are produced from honey rather than grapes. The tasting tour shows you the entire journey from honey to glass and includes a complimentary meal. Many of the ingredients that go into produce Wilmington meads are sourced from the local area, while the tours are well-suited to family trips and tourists. There are nine drinks to choose from that span over ciders, wines, meads, and gluten-free beverages. Tours run from 28 Brookside Drive at Liquid Alchemy Beverages every weekend from January 1st. 

• Tour and tasting sessions start at midday each day and close at 9 pm.
• The Liquid Alchemy Brewing Company was formed in 2012 and has been a stalwart of the Wilmington community.
• The minimum age requirement for those taking tours and tasting is 21.
