Carbon Chains

Carbon Chains can form when soot particles combine together. Sometimes people mistake the carbon chains for spider webs.  They are not spider webs but rather a collection of soot particles that form and bond together that resembles one. They are carbon atoms that are formed together to make a sequence. We know that these carbon chains are carcinogenetic.  It is not healthy nor wise to clean these chains yourself or without proper personal protective equipment.  In the first picture you can see the chains formed in the ceiling area corners.  The black soot particles are bonded together. In the second picture you can see the carbon chains gone. Painting will be needed.
